Mother and daughter, treasure hunters

Casa Barceló is Lola and Gloria's shop. They're mother and daughter.

Lola spent 25 years in interior design. Then Gloria suggested they open a shop together, and Lola put her fears aside. They opened on Carrer de Nàpols in spring 2020, just before the pandemic. It wasn't the best timing, but they kept going.

Since then they've been combing Europe's markets for pieces from the 70s and 80s: furniture, lamps, glass, ceramics, and clothes, which are Gloria's department.

Casa Barceló was always meant to be more than a shop: a place to look around, sit down, have a drink and meet people, and a space open to artists.
